This iconic event will again be a classic, fast and flat 10k road race along the beautiful coast road south on the banks of the Firth of Clyde all the way down south and back.

  • Entry for this event will still be just £19 and all finishers will receive a beautiful branded techincal race t shirt and commemorative race medal. Scottish Athletics members will receive a £2 discount – SA number should be logged at time of entering the race
  • The route has been officially measured by a Scottish Athletics Federation accredited measurer and will have a Scottish Athletics permit
  • Race numbers will be issued on the day and registration is from 0930hrs onwards on Dunoon Pier, close to the start/finish line at the Boathouse Restaurant in the West Bay
  • Entries will close on  23rd July 2025

🥇 Top Performers

  • Ben Nicolson of Edinburgh Athletics Club claimed victory with a blistering chip time of 33:36, leading the senior male category.
  • Jack Fullerton (Corstorphine AAC) followed closely at 34:17, securing second place overall.
  • Hanna Andrejczuk (Fife Athletic Club) dominated the senior female field, finishing first in her category and third overall with 36:16.
  • Notable veteran performances included:
    • Euan Carrick (V40) – 36:26
    • Stefan Massingham (V50) – 39:57
    • Donnie Nicolson (V60) – 40:14
    • Iain Carrick (V70) – 47:40

The race was a true celebration of endurance across all age groups, with clubs from across Scotland represented—from Glasgow University Hares and Hounds to Dunoon Hill Runners.
